Promoting Chito Ryu Karate in Ontario
The Chito-Ryu Association of Ontario (CRAO) was formed in 1988 to help foster and administrate this traditional style of karate in Ontario based on its growth and popularity. We are an entirely volunteer organization dedicated to actively promoting Chito-Ryu and maintaining its traditions, principles and standards. The Association is responsible for many duties including the organization of gradings, clinics, tournaments and fundraising activities.
The CRAO operates as a branch of the independent Canadian Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Association under the leadership of Sensei Shane Higashi.
